INVITATION

Dear HST Friends,

AMATEUR RADIO UNION OF SERBIA (SRS) as the hosting society and amateur radio club “New Belgrade” (YU1FJK), as the direct organizer of 7^th WORLD HST CHAMPIONSHIP, have the honor and the pleasure to invite all national amateur radio societies and their members to visit our country, and participate in this Championship.

We would like to invite not only competitors but also all radio-amateurs and fans of this sport. They will have a chance to enjoy in Belgrade - capital city of Serbia and our hospitality.

VENUE

Belgrade - Beograd

The Championship will be held in Belgrade the capital of Serbia. http://www.beograd.org.yu

ACCOMMODATION

Participants will be settled in hotel SLAVIJA**. It is situated 1.5 km from Belgrade city trading and business center, 1.5 km from Main railway and bus station, and 16 km from Belgrade Airport “Nikola Tesla”.

19. September (Wednesday)	Arrival of Participants, Registration, Accommodation, Opening ceremony, Coctail for Team Leaders and officials, Meeting of International Jury and Team Leaders
20. September (Thursday)	Competition
21. September (Friday)	Competition
22. September (Saturday)	Free day-spare time, Excursions, Awarding ceremony, Closing of the Championships and Ham fest
23. September (Sunday)	Departure of Participants

There will be different transportation options (travel by car, train, bus, plane). The nearest airport is in Belgrade.

VISAS

The citizens of majority of countries expected to take part in the Championship do not need visa to enter in Serbia. National teams/societies that need visas will be informed accordingly after receiving their Letter of Intent.

WEATHER

The weather in this period of the year is stable, usually sunny, with daily temperatures 19–23°C.

Competitors and Officials

Price per participant for the whole Championship is 265 EUR, if it is payed by June 30. 2007.

The price is 285 EUR for in-site payment.

The above fee covers:

Participation fee
Accommodation in 2 bed rooms with shower, WC, TV and telephone
Board - 3 meals daily (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Free day cultural program and excursion
Ham fest
Souvenirs

Visitors

Price per participant for the whole Championships is 175 EUR, if it is paid by June 30. 2007.

The price is 195 EUR for in-site payment.
